Get started in a few simple steps


In MacOS

  1. To connect to Tyro, go to Inventory Mode.
  2. In the top toolbar, select POS.
  3. Click on Shops and + sign to add a new one.
  4. Add in a new till and select ‘Use Tyro Merchant’.
  5. Enter in your Tyro details and click OK.
  6. To start processing payments, go to Inventory Mode.
  7. In the top toolbar, select POS then Point of Sale in the drop-down menu.
  8. Type in your sales rep ID.
  9. Scan in or search for the item details you are selling.
  10. In the Invoice screen use F3 to display payment methods.
  11. Enter in the amount under card.
  12. Your Tyro purchase statement will display before directing you to the printing option.
  13. Click on send in mail to email receipt.

In Windows

  1. To connect to Tyro, go to Inventory Mode
  2. In the left navigator, select POS.
  3. Click on Shops and + sign to add a new one.
  4. Add in a new till and select Use Tyro Merchant.
  5. Enter in your Tyro details and click OK.
  6. To start processing payments, go to Inventory Mode.
  7. In the left navigator, select POS then Point of Sale in the drop-down menu.
  8. Type in your sales rep ID.
