Find No Sale Client Overview
From time to time all businesses should review all of the Active Clients that they have had no sales for a selected period. These Clients may then be looked through and a decision made to set them as inactive. The main reason would be that the business does not deem it necessary to maintain them as active as we have not processed any sales for them in a selected period of time.
This does not mean that these clients have have a zero balance, just no sales for the selected period. They may not be made inactive unless they have a zero balance.
Once inactivated these Clients will no longer be displayed in any list or searches where the inactivated Clients ID forms a part of the search criteria. The clients ID will still form a part of the data file and the usage of these inactive ID’s will not be allowed. If an attempt to enter one of these inactive ID’s, SapphireOne will warn the user that the ID already exists.
By selecting the Show Inactive option from the Sapphire Tools menu the user is able to include these in the list of clients and re-activate them as required.
Find No Sale Client in Operation
First go to either Accounts or Inventory mode and perform a Client Inquiry, then select the Find no Sale Client tool option. Once the tool has been selected an alert will be displayed asking for a start and an end date for the search. SapphireOne will propose the current date as the end date, and leave the Start date open so enter as required.
SapphireOne will then display a shortened list of clients that have been inactive for the entered period.
