Export Custom Report Overview
The Export Custom Report to PDF tool in SapphireOne allows users to generate customised reports and save them in PDF format. This feature is specifically designed for inventory management within the SapphireOne.
Export Custom Report Setup
This Export pdf function will export a Custom Report to a pdf but will not export a Custom List Report which is a different type of report.
Before using this tool a Custom Report must be created. When this tool is selected the SapphireOne user has the option of adding a new Custom Report or deleting a Custom Report.
Once this report has been created the user may select the Export Custom Report to PDF tool.
Once the alert above is displayed, enter your name for the report and then build the Custom Report.
Custom Report overview
The SapphireOne Custom Report function gives the SapphireOne user the ability to link to all linked tables and fields, and can fully customise a report to reflect their own corporate identity.
This may include a particular font style, font size or a particular logo. Once these Custom Reports have been built, established and saved within the SapphireOne data file the user then has the ability to generate these reports as pdf’s and various other formats.
Typically these will be generated via an email, for example, a Sales Client Invoice (SCI) or an Order Vendor Invoice (OVI). This specific tool falls under the Export title and is designed for inventory and generating a Sapphire Custom Report to PDF within the SapphireOne Inventory mode.
Export Custom Report to PDF Usage
Once the inventory inquiry list is on screen select the Custom Report to PDF option. SapphireOne will now display an alert as seen to the right.
It will list any custom Reports created using the documentation at the beginning of this article.
