Conduct a Services Inquiry from the Sapphire Web Pack

This section will teach you how to manage Services Inquiry within SapphireOne Web Pack. Efficient management of Services Inquiry is essential for tracking service requests, managing service delivery, and maintaining accurate records of services provided to clients within your organisation. The steps are as follows:

Viewing Service Details

    1. Navigate to Web Pack > Inquiry > Services Inquiry. SapphireOne will display a list of all service requests and records.
    2. Select a service request from the list.
    3. Click the View button to see detailed information about the service, including Service ID, Description, Client, Date, Status, and Assigned Personnel.

    Creating a New Service Record

      1. Navigate to Web Pack > Inquiry > Services Inquiry. SapphireOne will display a list of all service requests and records.
      2. Click the New button.
      3. Enter the following mandatory details:
        • Service ID – A unique identifier for the service request.
        • Description – A brief description of the service.
        • Client – The client requesting the service.
        • Date – The date the service request was made.
        • Status – The current status of the service request (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Completed).
        • Assigned Personnel – The personnel assigned to handle the service request.
      4. Press Tab to proceed to the service data entry page.

      Modifying an Existing Service Record

        1. Navigate to Web Pack > Inquiry > Services Inquiry. SapphireOne will display a list of all service requests and records.
        2. Select a service request from the list.
        3. Click the Modify button to edit the service details.
        4. Update necessary fields such as Description, Status, and Assigned Personnel.
        5. Click Save to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

        Generating Reports

          • Use the buttons located in the bottom right-hand corner of the Service Record. The values are as follows:
            • PDF – Generate a report of the service request in PDF format.
            • Excel – Export the service request details to an Excel spreadsheet.
