Submit a Leave Request from the Sapphire Web Pack

The Leave Request functionality in SapphireOne allows employees to submit leave requests for approval. This process is essential for managing employee leave efficiently and ensuring that all leave records are accurately maintained. The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Web Pack > Data Entry > Leave Request.
  2. Select the employee who is submitting the leave request.
  3. Click on New Leave Request to begin a new request.
  4. Enter the Leave Request Name for identification purposes.
  5. Enter Leave Details
    • Leave Type – Select the type of leave (e.g., annual leave, sick leave).
    • Start Date – Enter the start date of the leave.
    • End Date – Enter the end date of the leave.
    • Reason – Provide a brief reason for the leave request.
  6. Use the Future Leave calculator to determine the leave balance at the time of the request.
  7. Review all entered details for accuracy.
  8. Click Confirm to finalise the leave request.
  9. Verify all information is correct.
  10. Click Submit to send the leave request for approval.
