Pack Items for Consignment from the Sapphire Web Pack

The Packing Consignment functionality in SapphireOne enables users to manage the workflow and process required for picking, packing, and delivering inventory. This process is crucial for ensuring that orders are accurately packed and dispatched to clients, thereby maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Web Pack > Data Entry > Packing Consignment.
  2. Select the order you wish to pack from the list of outstanding orders.
  3. SapphireOne will display the Packing Consignment screen.
  4. Choose the inventory items to be packed into containers.
  5. Click Add Container to add a new container.
  6. Click Remove Container to remove a selected container (note: the last container cannot be removed).
  7. Enter Container Attributes
    • Size Template – Select the size template.
    • CTN – Choose the carton type (e.g., CTN, PAL, SAT, BAG, ENV, ITM, JIF, SKI).
    • Length, Width & Height – Enter the physical dimensions of the container.
    • Weight – Enter the weight of the container with packed items.
    • Items Quantity – Enter the number of inventory items in each container.
  8. Ensure all items are correctly allocated to containers. A green tick will indicate that all goods have been allocated.
  9. Click the save icon to save the packing consignment.
  10. Click the cancel icon to cancel the process.
