Utilise the Workflow Centre

The Workflow Centre in SapphireOne is a powerful tool that allows users to manage and streamline their organisational processes. This guide will walk you through the steps to effectively use the Workflow Centre, ensuring that you can optimise your workflow management. The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Management > Analysis > Workflow Centre.
  2. Click on the New button to create a new workflow.
  3. Fill out the necessary form elements:
    • Workflow Name – Enter a descriptive name for the workflow.
    • Description – Provide a brief description of the workflow’s purpose.
    • Start Date – Select the start date for the workflow.
    • End Date – (Optional) Select the end date if applicable.
  4. Click on Add Step to include a new step in the workflow.
  5. Fill out the required fields:
    • Step Name – Enter a name for the step.
    • Assigned To – Select the user or team responsible for this step.
    • Due Date – Set a due date for the completion of this step.
    • Instructions – Provide detailed instructions for the step.
  6. Review the workflow details to ensure accuracy.
  7. Click Save to store the workflow.
  8. To activate the workflow, click on the Activate button.

Monitoring Workflow Progress

    1. Return to the Workflow Centre to view active workflows.
    2. Click on a workflow to see its progress and status of each step.
