When using the Resource function in SapphireOne, although you have the ability to create new resource classes, this short article will focus exclusively on viewing and modifying and existing Resource. Below are the steps to achieve this:
- Navigate to Job Projects > Resources > Inquiry and then select the Resource item. SapphireOne will display the Resource list screen showing a list of Resources already set up in the data file.
- Select the Resource you want to manage and then view or make any alterations as required.
- Main Information area – When a data file has been established for a period of time there should be little changes in this area.
- History area – Viewing only as it is populated from Resource data as entered by users.
- Notes area – Notes pertaining to the Resource may be added to or removed at any time.
- Rates area – This area would be the most common reason for making alterations to the Resource’s Master record. All entries in the area may be modified, deleted or added to, as required.
- Click green tick button on the main toolbar to save the alterations to the Resource’s Master Record.
