Manage Inventory Items for Job Projects

The Inventory Inquiry function allows you to manage individual inventory items, including their details and allocations. The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Job Projects > Inventory > Inquiry and then select the Inventory item. SapphireOne will display the Inventory list screen with a list of Base Inventory items already in the data file
  2. Select the Base Inventory item you want to manage, and select the blue modify button on the main toolbar.
  3. Update Inventory Details as required using the Base Inventory Inquiry within projects mode, which offers users a convenient way to manage inventory items in Job Projects. While all inventory details, except the Inventory ID, can be modified, the most important aspect to verify is whether the Base Inventory item has the correct Project ID entered on the Details Page in the Inventory area to ensure proper tracking and association with the intended project.
  4. If any modifications are made to the Base Inventory item, click on the green tick button on the main toolbar to save the modifications.
