The Class function allows you to categorise inventory items into classes, facilitating better organisation and management. The steps are as follows:
- Navigate to Job Projects > Inventory > Inquiry and then select the Class item. SapphireOne will display the Inventory Class screen with a list of Inventory Classes already in the data file.
- From here the user has three choices:
- Adding – Click on the blue + button on the main toolbar and the New Inventory Class screen will be displayed ready for data entry.
- Saving – After entering the required details, click on the green tick button on the main toolbar to save the new Inventory Class record.
- Viewing or Modifying – Select an existing Inventory Class, then click on the blue Modify or View button on the main toolbar as required.
- Saving – When the Modify button is used, save the modified Inventory Class, by clicking on the green tick button on the main toolbar.
- Deleting – To delete an Inventory class, select it and then click the red Delete button on the main Toolbar to delete it immediately.
