Configure Shops and Tills

Managing Shops & Tills is crucial for organising your POS setup. This guide will help you configure shops and tills in SapphireOne. The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Inventory > POS > Inquiry and then select the Shops item. SapphireOne will display the Shop list screen which displays a list of any shops set up in the data file.
  2. Click on the blue + button on the main toolbar and the New Shop screen will be displayed. Enter data into the data entry fields as required:
    • Details area – Enter a unique ID and Name for this new Shop record. Enter other details as required.
  3. Tills Area – Use the green + button or the Command / key combination to add a new till record to this shop record.
    • Till Request Alert – An alert will be displayed asking the user to enter a unique ID for this new Till. Once the OK button is clicked on the new Till will be displayed in the list of Tills.
  4. Till Details The only item entered for the new till will be the ID. Enter the details for this new till as required.
  5. Click on the green tick button on the main toolbar. This will create the new Shop record along with its associated Till.
