Modify, View and Add Inventory Records

This function allows you to manage inventory records, including viewing, modifying and adding, inventory records. Note that there is also an Inventory Locations Inquiry which is different to this Base Inventory Inquiry. Management steps for base inventory are as follows.

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Inventory > Inquiry and select the Inventory item. SapphireOne will display the Inventory screen with a list of Base Inventory items currently in the data file.
  2. Do one of the following:
    1. To add a new record, select the blue + button on the main toolbar. A New Inventory screen will be displayed, ready for data entry, facilitating the entry of the required details for a new Inventory Item.
    2. To View or Modify an existing Inventory record, select the Inventory record and then select the blue View or Modify button as required.
  3. Make the necessary changes or additions and save using the green tick button on the main toolbar.
