This function allows you to manage various locations for your inventory stock within your organisation, ensuring accurate tracking of where inventory is stored.
- Navigate to Inventory > Inventory > Inquiry and select the Locations item. Sapphire one will display the Location list screen with a list of Inventory locations already in the data file
- From this list of locations the user may do one of the following:
- Adding – To add a new Inventory Location, click on the blue + button. SapphireOne will display the New Location data entry screen ready for data entry. Enter a new location ID, Name and any other details as required.
- Viewing – Select an existing Inventory Location, then select the blue view button on the main tool bar. Then close using the green tick button on the main toolbar.
- Modifying – Select an existing Inventory Location, then select the blue modify button on the main tool bar. Then the user will save these modification by clicking on the green tick button on the main toolbar.
- Deleting- For Inventory Locations the delete function should not normally be used as there is a lot of criteria that must be met before deletion of a Location is permitted. If all criteria is met, select it and click the red delete button on the main toolbar.
