Modify, View, Add, and Delete an Inventory Class

This function allows you to manage Inventory Classes, categorising Inventory items for better organisation and reporting. The steps are as follows.

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Inventory > Inquiry and then select the Inventory Class item. SapphireOne will display the Inventory Class screen with a list of Inventory Classes already in the data file
  2. From here the user has three choices:
  3. Adding – Click on the blue + button on the main toolbar and the New Inventory Class screen will be displayed ready for data entry. Enter enter the required details.
    • Saving – Enter the required details and click on the green tick button on the main toolbar to save the new Inventory Class record.
  4. Viewing or Modifying – Select the blue modify or view button on the main toolbar as required.
    1. Saving – When the Modify button is used the user will have to save the modified Inventory Class by clicking on the green tick button on the main toolbar
  5. Deleting – To delete an Inventory class, select it and click the red delete button on the main Toolbar.
