This section explains how to manage asset backlogs, which are used to track pending tasks or maintenance activities related to assets. The steps are as follows:
Add an Asset Backlog Entry
- Navigate to Assets > Assets > Asset Backlog.
- Click on the New button to create a new backlog entry.
- Fill out the following mandatory fields:
- Backlog ID – Unique identifier for the backlog entry.
- Asset ID – Select the asset related to the backlog.
- Description – Brief description of the backlog task.
- Due Date – Enter the due date for the task.
- Click Save to add the new backlog entry.
Update an Existing Asset Backlog Entry
- Navigate to Assets > Assets > Asset Backlog.
- Select the backlog entry you wish to update from the list.
- Modify the necessary fields and click Save to update the record.
Delete an Asset Backlog Entry
- Navigate to Assets > Assets > Asset Backlog.
- Select the backlog entry you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete button and confirm the deletion.
