Track Asset Backlogs

This section explains how to manage asset backlogs, which are used to track pending tasks or maintenance activities related to assets. The steps are as follows:

Add an Asset Backlog Entry

  1. Navigate to Assets > Assets > Asset Backlog.
  2. Click on the New button to create a new backlog entry.
  3. Fill out the following mandatory fields:
    • Backlog ID – Unique identifier for the backlog entry.
    • Asset ID – Select the asset related to the backlog.
    • Description – Brief description of the backlog task.
    • Due Date – Enter the due date for the task.
  4. Click Save to add the new backlog entry.

Update an Existing Asset Backlog Entry

    • Navigate to Assets > Assets > Asset Backlog.
    • Select the backlog entry you wish to update from the list.
    • Modify the necessary fields and click Save to update the record.

    Delete an Asset Backlog Entry

      • Navigate to Assets > Assets > Asset Backlog.
      • Select the backlog entry you wish to delete.
      • Click the Delete button and confirm the deletion.
