Automate Depreciation Calculations

This unit covers the process of setting up and running auto depreciation for assets. Auto depreciation ensures that asset values are accurately adjusted over time according to predefined depreciation methods. The steps are as follows:

1. Navigate to Assets > Assets > Auto Depreciation.
2. Click on the ‘New’ button.
3. Fill out the following mandatory fields:
   • Depreciation Method – Select the method of depreciation (e.g., Straight Line, Declining Balance).
   • Depreciation Rate – Specify the rate of depreciation.
   • Start Date – Enter the start date for depreciation.
4. Review the settings.
5. Click ‘Run’ to apply depreciation to the selected assets.
